rentmyCastle is a user-friendly web app that helps connect people who want to list or rent properties. It acts as a platform where individuals can easily find tenants for their properties or search for rental properties they're interested in. Whether you're looking to rent out your castle or find a place to call home, rentmyCastle simplifies the process and brings property owners and renters together.
Inspiration
Before I took admission in the college, I searched for PGs and rooms near the college. However, there were no specific websites for this. I had to search a lot, and even when I found some options, I didn't know how far they were from the college.
After attending college, I saw that many people were searching for rooms and PGs. I realized that there was an opportunity here. I thought about creating a website that would focus only on PGs and rooms near colleges.

Building Experience with Appwrite
I usually use Python to create the backend of a website or application. It can be quite time-consuming, and it requires a lot of attention to get it right. Additionally, managing and maintaining a server can be a difficult task. However, with Appwrite, I don't have to worry about the backend anymore. It's a free and open-source tool that takes care of the backend for me. If I need to make any additional configurations, I can easily do so. This way, I can focus more on building the actual application.
